Qua số liệu bảng 2.1 và biểu đồ 2.1 cho chúng ta thấy: Chi nhánh Ngân hàng Nông nghiệp Quận 1 có sự tăng trưởng qua các năm, hàng năm đều có quỹ thu nhập dương và hệ số lương cao - đảm bảo thu nhập cho cán bộ công nhân viên của Chi nhánh. Điều đó thể hiện sự hiệu quả trong hoạt động kinh doanh của Chi nhánh, với trình độ quản trị và lãnh đạo sáng suốt của Ban Giám Đốc cùng sự cố gắng nỗ lực của tập thể cán bộ công nhân viên.
Tuy nhiên, có thể thấy rằng nguồn thu chủ yếu của Chi nhánh là từ lãi cho vay, còn nguồn thu từ dịch vụ ngoài tín dụng là rất thấp: năm 2007 chiếm tỷ lệ 1,68%, năm 2008 là 8,43% và năm 2009 là : 6,16% trong tổng thu. Đây là mức thu rất thấp nếu so với toàn hệ thống Ngân hàng Nông nghiệp Việt Nam cũng như các chi nhánh trong khu vực Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh (năm 2009, tỉ lệ thu ngoài tín dụng của toàn hệ thống là 11,5% trên tổng thu, của khu vực Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh là 8,9%). Vì vậy, Chi nhánh Ngân hàng Nông nghiệp Quận 1 cần có những giải pháp để tăng nguồn thu từ dịch vụ ngoài tín dụng trong những năm tiếp theo.
Tóm lại: Với sự quyết tâm khắc phục những khó khăn và phát huy tốt những lợi thế vốn có, qua các năm Chi nhánh luôn có tốc độ tăng trưởng nhanh từ công tác huy động vốn, chất lượng tín dụng đến các sản phẩm dịch vụ ngân hàng khác, … và đặc biệt là chênh lệch (thu- chi) và hệ số lương đạt khá cao so với mặt bằng chung của các ngân hàng thương mại trên phạm vi toàn quốc. Do vậy, qua đánh giá xếp loại thi đua năm 2009 của Ngân hàng Nông nghiệp Việt Nam, các chỉ tiêu cơ bản đều đạt và vượt kế hoạch được giao và Chi nhánh đã xứng đáng đạt một loạt các danh hiệu sau :
1- Đơn vị hoàn thành xuất sắc nhiệm vụ kinh doanh năm 2009.
2- Đơn vị cơ sở trong sạch vững mạnh.
3- Tập thể lao động xuất sắc ...và nhiều danh hiệu chiến sỹ thi đua .
Và đặc biệt là mỗi cán bộ công nhân viên trong Chi nhánh được thưởng lương năng suất ở mức tối đa theo quy định của Ngân hàng Nông nghiệp Việt nam .
2.3-Thực trạng hoạt động thanh toán quốc tế tại Chi nhánh
Mặc dù trong những năm qua trước những điều kiện rất khó khăn, nhưng Chi nhánh Quận 1 đã đạt được những kết quả khá ấn tượng, cụ thể :
