Tôi thực hiện đề tài này với mong muốn cải tiến phương pháp dạy và học theo hướng tích cực, phát huy tính chủ động, sáng tạo và năng lực tự học của học sinh, góp phần nâng cao chất lượng dạy và học môn Tiếng Anh đối với học sinh tiểu học cụ thể là:
- Học sinh có hứng thú hơn trong việc học từ mới. Các tiết học sôi nổi hơn, học sinh tiếp thu bài một cách tự nhiên chứ không máy móc, thụ động.
- Đa số học sinh có vốn từ tăng lên rõ rệt, giúp các em tự tin hơn khi học Tiếng Anh và việc tiếp thu bài mới cũng dễ dàng hơn.
