Việc thay thế bóng đèn huỳnh quang, đèn cao áp thông thường bằng bóng đèn led thông minh tiết kiệm điện sẽ làm giảm bớt gánh nặng cho ngành công nghiệp năng lượng của đất nước. Việt Nam đang trong quá trình phát triển, do đó nhu cầu về năng lượng nói chung và về điện năng nói riêng sẽ ngày càng lớn trong những năm tiếp theo. Để đáp ứng nhu cầu ngày càng lớn này, Chính phủ đã đưa ra những kế hoạch xây dựng mới các công trình sản xuất điện năng
