Công việc học tập rất quan trọng đối với học sinh và nó đang từng ngày được xã hội hoá, nhà nhà học tập, người người học tập. Nhưng đến với công việc này, mỗi người có một cách thức học tập, một mục đích học tập khác nhau. Vậy cần nhìn nhận vấn đề học tập ngày nay như thế nào?

Học tập là một quá trình dài, là một cách để con người tiếp cận tri thức, nâng cao trình độ, mở mang trí óc để khám phá những điều hay lẽ phải. Học là việc cần thiết suốt đời bởi tri thức nhân loại là một kho tàng vô cùng phong phú, nó như biển cả mênh mông mà sự hiểu biết của con người lại có hạn. Đâu phải chỉ cần thời gian mà con người có thể hiểu biết được mọi điều trong cuộc sống. Con người ta khi sinh ra, chưa có hiểu biết về cuộc sống, chưa biết làm gì cả, vì vậy phải học từ việc nhỏ nhất, đơn giản nhất trở đi. Lớn lên đến trường phải học đọc, học viết, học những kiến thức tự nhiên và xã hội để trang bị cho mình những trí thức cần thiết trong cuộc sống nhằm giúp mình sau này có thể làm việc tốt bởi trẻ mà không học thì sẽ rất khó để chúng ta có thể vào đời một cách vững vàng. Khi trưởng thành lại cần phải học. Những kiến thức ta được học trong trường không chỉ là nền tảng cơ bản trong cuộc sống, khi bắt tay vào công việc thường nảy sinh ra nhiều vấn đề. Không ngừng học tập thì mới trở thành người có ích cho gia đình và cho xã hội.

Ngày nay, mỗi con người đều có cách học riêng của mình. Nhiều bạn rất chăm chỉ, cần cù và giành được những thành công lớn. Đã có biết bao những bạn học sinh đạt thành tích cao trong học tập. Họ luôn lấy gương các vị danh nhân, các bậc cha anh đi trước để noi gương theo. Như Lênin với câu nói "Học, học nữa, học mãi" hay nhà bác học Đácuyn lừng danh cũng nói rằng: "Bác học không có nghĩa là ngừng học". Vì thế học sẽ không bao giờ là đủ và học tập là một việc vô cùng cần thiết đối với cuộc sống ngày càng phát triển như hiện nay.

Tuy nhiên vẫn có không ít những bạn học sinh mải chơi quên học, hoặc nếu có cũng chỉ là học vẹt, học đối phó. Đó quả thực là những hành động hết sức sai lầm. Các bạn hãy đến với những em nhỏ lang thang, hãy nhìn những khuôn mặt nhỏ bé, những đôi mắt thơ ngây luôn ao ước được một lần cắp sách tới trường như bao bạn nhỏ khác. Lúc đó các bạn sẽ nghĩ sao? Chúng ta được may mắn hơn các bạn bé nhỏ ấy, chúng ta được cha mẹ yêu thương, được thầy cô tận tình dạy dỗ, vậy mà chúng ta lại không học, lại coi thường việc học. Như vậy chảng phải thật đáng trách sao? Lúc ấu thơ, ngoài bản năng tự nhiên là khóc và ăn thì mọi thao tác còn lại đều phải trải qua một quá trình học tập. Những người cha, người mẹ là những người thầy đầu tiên của trẻ, dạy cho trẻ biết lẫy, biết bò. Vậy đấy, ngay từ khi còn nhỏ, khi chưa phải đến trường thì bất kỳ một đứa trẻ nào cũng phải học, phải trải qua một sự khổ công. Để rồi đến khi lớn lên, cắp sách tới trường, thầy cô dạy ta biết đọc biết viết, học những thao tác ngồi, cầm bút viết. Lớn hơn nữa, thầy cô lại dạy cho tà kiến thức theo từng cấp học phù hợp với khả năng nhận thức, để sau này có thể vận dụng vào cuộc sống, công việc. Tất cả những điều đó đều giúp chúng ta trở thành những con ngoan trò giỏi. Học là để trưởng thành, để hoà nhập với cuộc sống văn minh, có khả năng thích ứng với những tiến bộ khoa học.

Quả thật, tương lai là ở trong tay chúng ta, nó sáng sủa hay mờ mịt là phụ thuộc vào sự nỗ lực học tập của mỗi con người. Vì thế chúng ta đừng để phí hoài những gì đã học được ở ghế nhà trường, bởi "một bước lỡ, nghìn thu ân hận". Nếu mải chơi chúng ta sẽ làm lỡ mất một chuyến tàu đi đến tương lai. Chuyến tàu đó không hề đi đến một cái đích nào nhất định. Chuyến tàu đó rất đặc biệt bởi người lái tàu là chúng ta và hành khách cũng chính là chúng ta. Nó được chèo lái bởi chính đôi bàn tay của chúng ta. Kiến thức trong trường ta học là nền tảng cơ bản để ta làm việc. Nhưng nhiều khi chính những kiến thức ấy cũng không đáp ứng đủ được những yêu cầu của sự phát triển mạnh mẽ của khoa học kỹ thuật. Nếu không tiếp tục học chúng ta sẽ không có đủ khả năng để đảm đương công việc.

Việc học tập không phân biệt tuổi tác, trình độ, địa vị hay hoàn cảnh xã hội mà tuỳ theo ham muốn hiểu biết của mỗi con người. Khi còn nhỏ đang ở lứa tuổi cắp sách đến trường, thầy cô dạy cho ta rất nhiều kiến thức về tự nhiên, xã hội... vì vậy mà chúng ta phải không ngừng nâng cao hiểu biết, trau dồi tri thức, tận dụng mọi cơ hội để học tập. Và đến tuổi trưởng thành chuẩn bị bước chân vào đời, để tự lập bằng vốn kiến thức của mình được trang bị trong nhà trường, chúng ta vẫn phải tìm tòi nghiên cứu không ngừng trong công việc, sách báo... để nâng cao tay nghề, trình độ. Thông thường một người trong nhà trường học giỏi thì ra trường cũng sẽ làm việc tốt, nhưng không phải lúc nào cũng vậy. Vì vậy, chúng ta phải học ở mọi lúc mọi nơi, học ở những người đi trước mình, lớn tuổi hơn mình, những đồng nghiệp xung quanh mình để làm sao lấp đầy những khoảng trống mà mình thiếu sót trong quá trình học tập và làm việc...

Mỗi học sinh chúng ta cần phải nhận rõ bổn phận và trách nhiệm của mình, trong thời kỳ đang sống nhờ vào gia đình và xã hội. Nhưng học bằng cách nào để đạt kết quả tốt. Phương pháp học tập có rất nhiều ta có thể học qua sách vở. Ở trường, ta được sự dạy dỗ của thầy cô và bạn bè nhưng cũng cần đọc thêm báo chí, để có thể hiểu một cách sâu sắc hơn về xã hội ngày nay. Người dân chưa nắm rõ được ý nghĩa lớn lao khi cho con em mình đến trường. Rất nhiều em học sinh phải bỏ dở việc học hành để sống cuộc sống "bán mặt cho đất, bán lưng cho trời" như cha ông họ. Thật là đáng tiếc thay khi có những học sinh được sự quan tâm của gia đình, xã hội được lo lắng đầy đủ vật chất lại không biết quý trọng. Đây là hiện tượng khá phổ biến của các học sinh "lười học". Đó không phải là những tấm gương "sáng". Chúng ta hãy học tập theo các thế hệ cha ông như Nguyễn Trãi, Nguyễn Du, Lê Quý Đôn... những Lê Bá Khánh Trình, Tôn Thất Tùng, Đặng Thái Sơn... để trở thành con người có ích.
