Đầu tư trực tiếp nước ngoài tăng đáng kể. Đến nay, 52 dự án đã được cấp giấy phép đầu tư, với tổng vốn đầu tư đăng ký là 699 triệu USD, trong đó 198 triệu USD đã được giải ngân. Tình hinh KT-XH của tỉnh Thừa Thiên Huế đã có những thành tựu đáng khích lệ trên nhiều khía cạnh; đời sống vật chất và tinh thần của người dân đã được cải thiện đáng kể. Những thành tựu này đạt được là nhờ vào những nỗ lực của cán bộ và nhân dân tỉnh TTH, sự hỗ trợ từ Trung ương và nhờ vào sự hợp tác và hỗ trợ tích cực của quý vị.
