Phát biểu tại buổi lễ, ông Đặng Huy Đông, Thứ trưởng Bộ Kế hoạch và Đầu tư cho biết, thời gian qua, khối doanh nghiệp nhỏ và vừa vẫn đang đối mặt với nhiều khó khăn và thách thức như môi trường kinh doanh chưa minh bạch, thiếu mặt bằng sản xuất kinh doanh, nguồn nhân lực chất lượng chưa cao, trình độ quản lý còn hạn chế.
Đồng thời, rào cản lớn nhất đối với doanh nghiệp nhỏ và vừa hiện nay là thiếu vốn để khởi nghiệp và mở rộng quy mô sản xuất kinh doanh.
Quỹ sẽ phối hợp với các cơ quan, tổ chức có liên quan để thực hiện các hoạt động và chương trình hỗ trợ nhằm tăng cường năng lực cho các doanh nghiệp nhỏ và vừa.
