Thực tế, hệ thống pháp lý hiện hành chưa có sự ưu tiên cụ thể nào hướng đến đối tượng lao động nữ nói chung và lao động nữ nhập cư nói riêng… Về việc cần ban hành những quy định pháp luật để bảo vệ quyền và lợi ích hợp pháp, chính đáng cho lao động nữ nhập cư, Trưởng ban Chính sách pháp luật Đặng Quang Điều kiến nghị, cần sớm điều chỉnh mức thỏa ước lao động tập thể, bảo đảm mức sống tối thiểu người lao động vào năm 2015. Tăng cường quản lý tiền lương khu vực doanh nghiệp ngoài nhà nước; có quy định bắt buộc các doanh nghiệp phải xây dựng thang, bảng lương, định mức lao động và đăng ký với cơ quan quản lý lao động địa phương…
