Tết năm ngóai, tôi và mẹ tôi đi du lịch ở Phan Thiết. Đây là một địa điểm lý tưởng để nghỉ ngơi. Chúng tôi ở lại đây khỏang 5 ngày. Phan Thiết cách Thành Phố Hồ Chí Minh khỏang 200 km. Nó có bề dày lịch sử văn hóa lâu đời nhất là văn hóa Chămpa với nhóm di tích Tháp Po Sah Inư. Ở đây, người dân theo một vài tôn giáo như: Công giáo, Tin lành, Phật giáo. Nền kinh tế phần lớn phụ thuộc nhiều vào du lịch. Tại khu vực phường Mũi Né được đầu tư xây dựng các quần thể du lịch, nghỉ mát, thể thao, leo núi, du thuyền, câu cá đánh gôn, nghỉ dưỡng, chữa bệnh để phục vụ du khách. Phan Thiết có nhiều địa điểm tham quan như: Mũi Né, Mũi Kê Gà, Hòn Rơm, Núi Tà Cú, Trường Dục Thanh, Bãi biển Đồi Dương, Bàu Trắng. Chúng tôi có một chuyến đi chơi thật lý thú ở Mũi Né - Hòn Rơm. Ở đây có bãi tắm dài hơn 17 km, nước xanh trong vắt và những đồi cát thơ mộng. Bạn còn có thể tham gia trò chơi trượt ván cát đầy sôi động nữa. Tôi và mẹ tôi được thưởng thức món cháo cá bớp ngon tuyệt, cùng với vài món khác như: bánh canh chả cá, mực nướng, cua hấp. Ở đây có một số lễ hội truyền thống địa phương như: Hội đền Dinh Thím Thầy, Lễ hội Cầu Yên, Lễ hội Kate, Lễ hội Nghinh Ông.
