Đặc biệt, Luật Doanh nghiệp chính là nền tảng của gần như mọi doanh nghiệp hoạt động tại Việt Nam, và việc sửa đổi, bổ sung luật này phản ánh những kinh nghiệm đã tích lũy được trong 8 năm qua kể từ lần sửa đổi, bổ sung trước là một việc làm kịp thời và được hoan nghênh. Về phần mình, Luật Đầu tư cần đặt nền móng cho việc gia nhập Hiệp định Đối tác Xuyên Thái bình dương, Hiệp định thương mại tự do với EU và hoạt động thực thi cộng đồng kinh tế Asean 2015 bằng việc tiến tối một cơ chế cấp phép đầu tư thông thoáng hơn, cũng như thực hiện những cải cách mới về thuế để hỗ trợ các chủ trương, chính sách phát triển công nghiệp.
