Hội thảo đã được nghe 25 bài trình bày, 36 ý kiến thảo luận/ chia sẻ về kinh nghiệm, bài học về liên kết giữa nghiên cứu, đào tạo và sản xuất trong lĩnh vực lâm nghiệp từ các trường Đại học trên thế giới, các tổ chức quốc tế và dự án phát triển; các đề xuất nhằm thực hiện tái cơ cấu ngành lâm nghiệp với trọng tâm nhấn mạnh vào đào tạo, nghiên cứu và phát triển sản xuất… Có nhiều ý kiến góp ý, chia sẻ rất tâm huyết và có giá trị quý báu đối với ngành Lâm nghiệp Việt Nam nói chung và Trường Đại học Lâm nghiệp nói riêng trong tiến trình tái cơ cấu ngành lâm nghiệp.
