Học bổng Mitsubishi cùng Quỹ học bổng Tokyo – Mitsubishi đã trở thành “người bạn đồng hành” thân cận trên hành trình vươn tới ước mơ của sinh viên Việt Nam. Hơn thế, sự tài trợ của Quỹ học bổng Tokyo – Mitsubishi đã gắn kết tình cảm giữa hai nước nói chung và với các trường Đại học nói riêng. Là sinh viên trường Đại học KHXH và NV, ĐHQGHN vinh dự được xét học bổng Mitsubishi, trong bài viết này, tôi xin trình bày những hiểu biết của tôi về hai chủ đề: Học bổng Mitsubishi và Quỹ học bổng Tokyo –Mitsubishi.
Học bổng Mitsubishi là chương trình học bổng của Quỹ Ngân hàng Tài chính Thống nhất Nhật Bản - Ngân hàng Tokyo - Mitsubishi (gọi là học bổng Mitsubishi, Nhật Bản) dành cho sinh viên của môt số trường Đại học ở Việt Nam như Đại học Quốc gia Hà Nội, Đại học Kinh tế Quốc dân, Đại học Y Hà Nội, Đại học Bách khoa Hà Nội,….Học bổng được trao cho những sinh viên chính quy của các khóa đạt những tiêu chuẩn sau: Sinh viên có kết quả học tập toàn năm học từ loại Giỏi trở lên và kết quả rèn luyện đạt từ loại Tốt trở lên. Ưu tiên cho những sinh viên tham gia nghiên cứu khoa học, có hoàn cảnh khó khăn và tích cực tham gia các hoạt động hỗ trợ cộng đồng,…
Riêng Đại học Quốc gia Hà Nội, số lượng hồ sơ xét tuyển được phân đều đến các đơn vị trường Đại học Khoa học Tự nhiên, Đại học KHXH và NV, Đại học Công nghệ, Đại học ngoại ngữ (chuyên ngành tiếng Nhật), Đại học Kinh tế. Với gần 20 năm thiết lập quan hệ hợp tác giữa hai bên, Quỹ học bổng Ngân hàng Tokyo – Mitsubishi đã trao gần 700 suất học bổng cho sinh viên, trị giá mỗi suất học bổng là 310 đô la Mỹ/ sinh viên/ năm học.
Quỹ Ngân hàng Tài chính Thống nhất Nhật Bản – Ngân hàng Tokyo – Mitsubishi hay gọi tắt là Quỹ học bổng Tokyo – Mitsubishi đã tài trợ Học bổng Mitsubishi cho sinh viên có đủ tiêu chuẩn trong một số trường Đại học. Với vị thế là một trong những tập đoàn tài chính hàng đầu của Nhật Bản và thế giới, hàng năm, ngân hàng Tokyo Mitsubishi thông qua quỹ Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ đã tham gia rất tích cực vào sự phát triển của xã hội.
Quỹ học bổng Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ đã có những sự phối hợp cộng tác hết sức chặt chẽ và bền vững với các trường Đại học nói chung và Đại học Quốc gia nói riêng trong nhiều năm qua. Điều này đã góp phần khích lệ tinh thần sinh viên, đồng thời mở ra những cơ hội để sinh viên có điều kiện phấn đấu và rèn luyện. Qua đó đóng góp vào sự phát triển chung của các trường Đại học .
Quỹ học bổng Tokyo – Mitsubishi và Học bổng Mitsubishi đã đồng hành sinh viên các trường đại học ở Việt Nam trong một thời gian dài, giúp sinh viên Việt Nam có cơ hội được được thỏa mãn hoài bão của mình, giúp họ nuôi dưỡng khát khao, đam mê và không ngừng sáng tạo. Tôi hy vọng, trong tương lai, quỹ học bổng này tiếp tục đồng hành cùng sinh viên các trường đại học.
