Black and Porter (1996) conducted a study to determine the critical success factors of quality management using members of the European Foundation for Quality Management. The authors determined that the total quality management of critical success factors is people and customer management, partnering providers, improving communication, orientation satisfaction customers, managing external interfaces, quality management strategy, teamwork structure for improvement, quality planning activities, measurement systems quality improvement, quality and culture of the company.
