Năm học 2011-2012 vừa qua, ngành Giáo dục đã nỗ lực phấn đấu đạt được nhiều kết quả quan trọng. Công tác quản lý giáo dục có những đổi mới theo hướng tăng cường phân công, phân cấp, tăng quyền tự chủ gắn với nâng cao trách nhiệm và kiểm tra, giám sát trong quản lý giáo dục các cấp. Chất lượng giáo dục toàn diện và giáo dục vùng khó khăn có mặt được nâng lên. Công tác xã hội hóa giáo dục, huy động các nguồn lực đầu tư cho giáo dục thu được kết quả tích cực. Nhiều học sinh, sinh viên đạt giải cao trong các kỳ thi quốc tế.Tôi nhiệt liệt biểu dương sự nỗ lực cố gắng và những kết quả của ngành Giáo dục, nhất là đội ngũ các thầy giáo, cô giáo tâm huyết, có nhiều đóng góp cho sự nghiệp "trồng người", các em học sinh, sinh viên có hoàn cảnh khó khăn vượt khó vươn lên trong học tập.
