Trong khi đó, các ngân hàng nước ngoài, ngoài công việc chấp hành nghiêm túc các tỷ lệ an toàn còn thường xuyên nghiên cứu, dự báo sát các diễn biến của nền kinh tế thị trường để dự phòng vốn thanh khoản, điều chỉnh kịp thời và không bị động trước những tác động của thị trường gây ảnh hưởng đến hoạt động kinh doanh ngân hàng.
