Vì vậy, để An Giang tạo nên những vùng nông sản hàng hóa có thể đứng vững và cạnh tranh được với thị trường trong nước cũng như thị trường nước ngoài, điều tất yếu là phải tiến đến sản xuất công nghệ cao, trước mắt là ứng dụng tiến bộ kỹ thuật vào sản xuất. Tuy nhiên, tiến bộ kỹ thuật mới đến tay nông dân phải vượt qua nhiều khó khăn trở ngại, đặc biệt là về nguồn vốn. Chúng ta đều biết vốn là yếu tố khởi đầu cũng là yếu tố mang tính quyết định đối với quá trình sản xuất kinh doanh và ứng dụng tiến bộ kỹ thuật, vì thế để nông nghiệp phát triển bền vững trong xu hướng hội nhập, việc đáp ứng nhu cầu vốn trong triển khai ứng dụng khoa học kỹ thuật vào sản xuất là nhiệm vụ quan trọng. Vì thế nghiên cứu này xác định những nhân tố ảnh hưởng đến khả năng tiếp cận tín dụng từ hệ thống quỹ tín dụng nhân dân của nông hộ sản xuất nông nghiệp ở An Giang nhằm cung cấp một nguồn thông tin quan trọng cho các tổ chức tín dụng chính thức đặt biệt là Hệ thống Quỹ tín dụng nhân dân và cơ quan hữu quan trong vấn đề hỗ trợ tín dụng cho nông hộ sản xuất nông nghiệp.
