 Các công việc bị phụ thuộc vào thời gian và trình tự (mỗi một bộ phận trên đường dây đều phụ thuộc lẫn nhau, một máy hỏng hoặc một công nhân nghỉ việc sẽ ảnh hưởng đến tính liên tục của dây chuyền);
 Công việc đơn điệu sẽ gây sự nhàm chán cho công nhân;
 Chi phí bảo trì, bảo dưỡng máy móc thiết bị cao
