In the course of liver transplant surgery, can cause blood loss, large volume blood transfusion, blood clotting disorders and bleeding coordination difficult to stop. Disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), who happens to about 1.2% of the cases. The consequences of DIC has led to congestion and embolism severe hemorrhage due to decreased coagulation factors. Low-dose heparin can inhibit the excessive activation of blood clotting in the DIC, which reduces the consumption of clotting factors which improve the coagulation status of the patient. We report the case of 54-year-old male patient with disseminated intravascular coagulation following liver transplant surgery at the Hospital Vietnam Germany, is detected early and treated with low molecular weight heparin.
