Chỉ số S&P 500 đang có chuỗi giảm điểm dài nhất kể từ tháng 6. Đầu phiên giao dịch thị trường đã tăng điểm nhờ số liệu tăng trưởng GDP quý III tốt hơn dự đoán nhưng sau đó toàn bộ số điểm tăng được đã bị xóa sạch.
