Chủ thể của hợp đồng:
Chủ thể của hợp đồng thuê tầu chuyến bao gồm: chủ tầu (hoặc người chuyên chở) và người thuê tầu (người xuất khẩu hoặc người nhập khẩu).
Trong hợp đồng thuê tầu cần ghi rõ tên, địa chỉ của các bên. Những đại lý hoặc người môi giới là người được uỷ thác để ký hợp đồng thuê tầu thì phải ghi rõ ở cuối hợp đồng chữ “chỉ là đại lý - as Agent Only” mục đích để xác định tư cách của người ký hợp đồng.
