Trong khuôn khổ “Dự án bóng đá Cộng đồng tại Việt Nam”, nhằm tạo điều kiện cho học sinh tiểu học – U12, trung học cơ sở - U15 cả nam, nữ và trẻ em khuyết tật trên, dưới 15 tuổi tại Việt Nam và các nước bạn có cơ hội gặp gỡ, giao lưu, học tập xây dựng các mối quan hệ tình bạn, tình đoàn kết hữu nghị giữa các câu lạc bộ, rèn luyện và phát triển kỹ năng sống, thông qua các hoạt động bóng đá;
Được sự đồng ý của UBND tỉnh TT Huế, Sở Giáo dục và Đào tạo và các Sở, Ban, Ngành liên quan tại tỉnh Thừa Thiên Huế phối hợp với Liên đoàn bóng đá Na Uy/Dự án bóng đá cộng đồng tại Việt Nam (NFF/FFAV), Liên đoàn bóng đá Việt Nam (VFF) tổ chức Cúp bóng đá Cộng đồng tại Việt Nam, Cúp FFAV 2015 lần thứ ba tại thành phố Huế từ ngày 02 đến ngày 05 tháng 6 năm 2015.
