- Là những kỹ sư xây dựng có trách nhiệm, có trình độ cao và nhiều kinh nghiệm thi công phụ trách công tác giám sát kiểm tra kỹ thuật, chất lượng.
- Phối hợp với Ban chỉ huy công trường nghiệm thu đối với các vật liệu đưa vào công trình và lập biên bản nghiệm thu.
- Tổ chức thực hiện công tác thí nghiệm kiểm tra chất lượng vật tư, vật liệu cùng với Ban chỉ huy công trường.
b. Công tác kiểm tra chất lượng vật liệu:
- Chọn nguồn cung cấp vật liệu hoặc các cung cấp có chất lượng vật liệu cao để sử dụng cho thi công công trình.
- Nhà thầu sẽ đệ trình lên Chủ đầu tư các chứng chỉ xác nhận chất lượng, mẫu vật tư, cũng như nguồn gốc vật tư và chỉ tiến hành ký hợp đồng mua vật tư sau khi có đồng ý duyệt của Chủ đầu tư.
- Tất cả vật tư các loại đều phải được kiểm tra chất lượng trước khi được đưa tới công trình và trình cho Chủ đầu tư chứng chỉ kiểm tra chất lượng vật liệu cũng như nguồn gốc xuất xứ của hàng hoá.
- Bố trí 1 kỹ sư phụ trách thí nghiệm. Một số loại vật liệu chính đều phải được thí nghiệm trước khi đưa vào sử dụng.
- Chủ đầu tư có quyền chỉ định thêm bất kỳ mẫu vật liệu nào có trên hiện trường (ngoài quy định) và yêu cầu kiểm tra chất lượng vật liệu đó. Nếu vật tư đó không đạt yêu cầu, Nhà thầu có trách nhiệm loại bỏ và thay bằng loại vật tư đạt yêu cầu, chi phí thí nghiệm do Nhà thầu chịu. Nếu ngược lại, chi phí sẽ do Chủ đầu tư chịu.
- Một bản lưu mẫu kết quả thí nghiệm sẽ được lưu giữ ở văn phòng công trường của Nhà thầu. Bản lưu này được xuất trình bất cứ khi nào có yêu cầu.
- Đối với vật tư không đạt yêu cầu vì bị phát hiện là hư hỏng, thiếu hụt hoặc không đúng chủng loại thì sẽ được nhà thầu gắn thẻ "Không đạt yêu cầu" và được chuyển ngay ra khỏi công trường. Sau đó Nhà thầu thông báo cho Nhà cung cấp bằng văn bản. Nếu thời gian trả lời của Nhà cung cấp chậm trễ ảnh hưởng tới tiến độ thi công thì Nhà thầu sẽ trả lại số hàng không đạt yêu cầu và chuyển sang mua vật tư ở Nhà cung cấp khác.
