Trạm bảo dưỡng bè cứu sinh bơm hơi (Vinalines Inliser Nha Trang) được thành lập tháng 11 năm 1999; Được Đăng kiểm Việt Nam cấp Giấy chứng nhận thỏa mãn Nghị quyết A761 (18) của IMO và tiêu chuẩn của Đăng kiểm Việt Nam về bảo dưỡng bè cứu sinh bơm hơi cho các tàu hoạt động trong nước và quốc tế. Với đội ngũ cán bộ kỹ thuật và công nhân được đào tạo trong và ngoài nước có đầy đủ các chứng chỉ; mặt bằng và các thiết bị chuyên dụng, Trạm bảo dưỡng bè cứu sinh bơm hơi có khả năng:
* Đáp ứng đầy đủ và nhanh chóng các dịch vụ bảo dưỡng bè cứu sinh bơm hơi cho các loại tàu hoạt động tuyến trong nước và quốc tế khi tàu neo, đậu và sửa chữa tại Việt Nam.
* Tháo, mở, kiểm tra, lấy số liệu và gấp lại bè theo đúng quy định của nhà chế tạo, đáp ứng tiêu chuẩn của IMO và kiểm tra của Đăng kiểm Việt Nam.
* Kiểm tra và xử lý vỏ thùng bè.
* Cân, kiểm tra, nạp lại chai gas, sửa chữa van khí.
* Thay thế các thiết bị hư hỏng, cấp các vật tư quá hạn.
* Dịch vụ cung cấp các thiết bị vật tư theo yêu cầu.

Quy trình bảo dưỡng như sau: - Nhận phao về Trạm bảo dưỡng - Mời Đăng Kiểm và khách hàng giám sát mở phao - Tiến hành kiểm tra tình trạng bên ngoài trước khi mở phao và lập biên bản - Lấy phao ra khỏi vỏ, kiểm tra bên trong vỏ phao. - Mở phao ra sàn nhà và kiểm tra tình trạng và hạn sử dụng các thiết bị trong bè.
Lập biên bản có xác nhận của 3 bên. - Tiến hành bơm và thử độ kín của phao. Tùy theo tuổi của bè mà tiến hành các phương pháp thử như sau: Phao có tuổi từ 1 đến 10 tuổi, thử WP; Cứ mỗi 5 năm thử GI; Phao trên 10 tuổi thử NAP, FS. - Thử thủy lực chai gas và nạp lại nếu thử GI - Kiểm tra hệ thống điện chiếu sáng. - Vệ sinh và sấy khô phao nếu bị ẩm ướt. - Vệ sinh, sơn, dán nhãn và băng phản quang vỏ phao. - Mời Đăng kiểm và khách hàng giám sát đóng phao và niêm phong. - Trình Đăng kiểm phê duyệt giấy chứng nhận nếu phao đạt yêu cầu. - Giao phao và giấy chứng nhận gốc.)
Mục đích làm phao cứu sinh: cung cấp lương thực, nước uống và các vật dụng y tế trog trường hợp tàu xảy ra vấn đề và chờ cứu hộ.
Bè có nhiều loại: dành cho 6,8,10, 12, 15, 20,25, 37
Time làm: tùy vào yêu cầu của chủ tàu. Nhanh nhất 1 bè/ngày, tối thiểu 2 nhân viên làm
Cost: tùy vật tư bên trog và thời hạn vật tư nên có giá cả khác nhau. (thông tin mật nên k thể biết giá, nhưng theo như dc biết thì khá cao vì đây là nơi độc quyền ở miền Trug (tại nha trag)
Vật tư bên trog: lương khô (0,5kg/người), nước (1,5l/người), pháo phát tín hiệu, thuốc,...(nhập từ China) à có thể sống trog 3 ngày trên biển. Được kiểm tra hàng năm và thay thế khi hết hạn
Nguyên liệu: phao dc làm bằng cao su, chất lượng chịu lực tốt và chống thấm tốt
Quy trình là phao: bung vỏ ra à kẻ chữ phù hợp (tên tàu, tên cảng)à mời đăng kiểm đến giám sát quá trình làm để đảm bảo an toàn à kiểm tra thiết bị bên trong phao
Trên phao còn có van an toàn:khi khí bơm căng à tự động xả khí
Có thiết bị vá tay phòng trường hợp bị lủng có thể tự vá (như vá xe máy ) & có bơm tay
Bên trong phao còn có tín hiệu morse để kêu cứu
