Phát triển tổ chức (Organization Development) là sự ứng dụng có hệ thống các kiến thức khoa học hành vi ở nhiều cấp độ khác nhau như nhóm, liên nhóm, tổ chức, vv, để mang lại những thay đổi có kế hoạch (Newstrom, Davis, 1993). Mục tiêu của nghiên cứu này là nâng cao chất lượng của môi trường làm việc, năng suất, khả năng thích ứng, và hiệu quả công việc. Điều này được thực hiện bằng cách thay đổi thái độ, hành vi, giá trị, chiến lược, quy trình, và các cấu trúc để tổ chức của bibica có thể thích ứng được với các hoạt động cạnh tranh, công nghệ tiên tiến và tốc độ thay đổi nhanh chóng của môi trường.
