• Nhiều tổ chức quy mô còn nhỏ, thiếu kinh nghiệm, và không có điều kiện tiếp cận các nguồn tài nguyên về phương thức quản lý thực tiễn tối ưu dành cho các tổ chức phi lợi nhuận.
• Nhà tài trợ thường ngần ngại trong việc hỗ trợ chi phí hoạt động cho một tổ chức phi lợi nhuận địa phương, dẫn đến sự hạn chế khả năng tập trung vào mục tiêu dài hạn của tổ chức.
• Việc gây quỹ từ nước ngoài phải trải qua quá trình phê duyệt hành chính phức tạp. Trong khi đó, chưa có hướng dẫn pháp lý dành cho việc gây quỹ tại địa phương.
• Thiếu sự phối hợp và liên lạc giữa các tổ chức phi lợi nhuận với nhau và giữa tổ chức phi lợi nhuận với các nhà tài trợ và tình nguyện viên tiềm năng.
Khi được xem là một quốc gia có thu nhập trung bình, và một số tổ chức tài trợ đã rút dần các hoạt động của họ tại Việt Nam, trong khi một số khác có kế hoạch dừng hoạt động trong vài năm tới (như Ford Foundation, Terres de Hommes Lausanne, DFID).

Meanwhile, no legal guidelines devoted to raise funds locally.• Lack of coordination and communication between the nonprofit organizations with each other and among nonprofit organizations with donors and volunteers the potential.When viewed as a medium-income country, and a number of donor organizations had phased operations at Vietnam, while others plan to stop in the next few years (such as the Ford Foundation, DFID Lausanne, Hommes de Terres).
