Tuy không mạnh tay cắt giảm nhân sự như Maritimebank, nhưng trong năm 2013, số lượng nhân viên tại ngân hàng Á Châu (ACB) tiếp tục giảm. Tính từ đầu năm đến hết quý III năm 2013, ACB đã sa thải 927 nhân viên. Đến 30/9/2013, tổng số nhân viên chính thức của ACB còn khoảng 9.005 người.

Tới ngày 31/12/2013, toàn hệ thống ACB chỉ còn 8.791 người, giảm 214 người so với quý 3/2013. So với cuối năm 2012, số lượng lao động tại ACB mất việc lên tới 1.115 người.
