Có thể nói, du lịch đã trở thành một hiện tượng kinh tế xã hội phổ biến không chỉ ở các nước phát triển mà còn ở các nước đang phát triển, trong đó có Việt Nam.
Đối với sinh viên, trình độ kiến thức là điều kiện cần nhưng chưa đủ. Ngoài kiến thức, sinh viên cần phải trao dồi kỹ năng thực hành để áp dụng kiến thức vào thực tiễn. Đây là điều kiện cần nhưng lại đang rất thiếu đối với sinh viên hiện nay.

Nắm được tầm quan trọng này, các bạn sinh viên học năm 3 – 4 đều được nhà trường tổ chức các đợt thực tập vào tháng 6 hàng năm, đây chính là điều kiện để các bạn vận dụng kiến thức của mình vào thực tế.

Qua quá trình thực tập, sinh viên không chỉ tiếp thu thêm kiến thức mà còn chủ động áp dụng nó vào môi trường làm việc thực tế tại cơ quan, doanh nghiệp. Đồng thời, tạo được những mối quan hệ mới, biết cách làm việc trong một tập thể đa dạng, trong đó, yếu tố ” quan hệ giữa người với người” luôn được trân trọng.

Vậy mục đích của việc thực tập là gì?

– Thâm nhập vào môi trường thực tế.

– Nâng cao nhận thức vai trò và trách nhiệm đối với ngành nghề mình đang theo đuổi.

– Tiếp cận và làm quen với các công việc liên quan đến chuyên môn mình đang theo học.

– Tìm hiểu cơ quan, đơn vị cùng với những hoạt động liên quan đến chuyên ngành.

– Biết tổ chức thực hiện công việc cá nhân và theo nhóm.
