Tổ chức thông gió chỉ ở phía trước tòa nhà làm giảm sự đối lưu giữa không khí bên trong và bên ngoài công trình. Bên trong công trình bị ô nhiễm bởi các nguồn nhiệt trong quá trình đun nấu, sử dụng các thiết bị điện: ti vi, máy vi tính, bàn ủi, đèn điện… ; khí CO2 trong quá trình hô hấp của con người và độ ẩm từ nhà vệ sinh là môi trường thuận lợi cho vi khuẩn phát triển. Nhiệt, mùi và khí ô nhiễm ảnh hưởng đến chất lượng vệ sinh bên trong công trình;
