Việt Nam và Australia sẽ thúc đẩy hợp tác khoa học-công nghệ.tập trung chủ yếu vào y tế, nông nghiệp và môi trường.
Phía Việt Nam đac thành lập một tiểu ban Việt Nam-Australia về hợp[ tác khoa học và công nghệ với sự tham gia của bộ:Y tế,Tài nguyên và Môi trường,Nông nghiệp và phát triển nông thôn.
