Trên đầu xe có lưới tản nhiệt nổi bật, cụm đèn pha LED toàn phần, dải đèn LED chiếu sáng ban ngày. Tuy nhiên, so với Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Genesis G90 hứa hẹn sở hữu giá bán thấp hơn hẳn để dễ dàng lôi kéo khách hàng.

Tại thị trường Bắc Mỹ, Genesis G90 được trang bị 2 loại động cơ khác nhau. Đầu tiên là động cơ xăng V6, tăng áp kép, dung tích 3,3 lít, sản sinh công suất tối đa 265 mã lực. Thứ hai là động cơ xăng V8, dung tích 5.0 lít với công suất tối đa 420 mã lực và mô-men xoắn cực đại 509 Nm.
