Nền kinh tế Việt Nam hoạt động kém hiệu quả. Việt Nam trong thời gian vừa qua phát triển kinh tế dàn trải theo chiều rộng. Mặc dù Việt Nam đã bước vào ngưỡng đầu của các nước có mức thu nhập trung bình, nhưng kết cấu cơ sở hạ tầng của nền kinh tế còn nhiều bất cập và yếu kém.
