hầu hết sinh viên điều rất quan tâm đến công việc của mình dù là thích hay không thích. Họ hiểu rõ việc học và trao dồi các kĩ năng là rất quan trọng cho công việc. Nhưng họ không có điều kiện để tìm hiểu hay trải nghiệm những kinh nghiệm cần thiết.ví dụ, sinh viên đi làm nhưng để kiếm thêm thu nhập trang trải cuộc sống chứ không phải để học hỏi, họ tham gia các hoạt động xã hội với mục đích giải trí hoặc lấy điểm trèn luyện chứ không trải nghiệp. Bên cạnh đó , có rất nhiều sinh viên không đi làm thêm, không tham gia các hoạt động xã hội cũng như các lớp kĩ năng mềm vì họ nghỉ chỉ cần có bằng cấp tốt, mối quan hệ tốt thì có thể kiếm được việc làm, suy nghĩ ấy gây ảnh hưởng xấu đến tương lai của họ. Ở việc nam, có nhiều người còn cho rằng chỉ cần có mối quan hệ tốt hay danh tiếng, tài sản thì ta có thể dễ dàng xin việc dựa trên các mối quan hệ của gia đình
