TIẾN TRÌNH PHONG TRÀO CHẤN HƯNG PHẬT GIÁO MIỀN TRUNG VIỆT NAM 1932 - 1951

Tóm tắt: Phong trào chấn hưng Phật giáo diễn ra vào nửa đầu thế kỉ XX có ý nghĩa đặc biệt quan trọng trong tiến trình lịch sử Phật giáo Việt Nam. Thành công của phong trào không chỉ góp phần khắc phục những yếu điểm đang tồn đọng mà nó còn tạo nên sức bật cho sự phát triển của tôn giáo này trong các giai đoạn tiếp theo. Trong khuôn khổ của bài viết này, chúng tôi xin được đi vào phân tích và trình bày một số nét về quá trình hình thành và phát triển của phong trào chấn hưng Phật giáo miền Trung, giai đoạn 1931 - 1951. Qua đó, góp phần bổ cứu thêm một số nguồn tư liệu cũng như nhận định đánh giá về phong trào chấn hưng Phật giáo miền Trung trong tiến trình lịch sử Phật giáo Việt Nam.

The PROCESS of the BUDDHIST CHAN HUNG MOVEMENT in CENTRAL VIETNAM, 1932-1951 Summary: Buddhist Chan Hung movement takes place in the first half of the TWENTIETH century particularly important significance in the history of Buddhism in Vietnam.
