Theo Cục Quản lý chất lượng nông lâm sản và thủy sản (Nafiqad), Bộ Nông nghiệp và Phát triển Nông thôn, mới đây, Cơ quan kiểm tra và an toàn thực phẩm (FSIS) - Bộ Nông nghiệp Hoa Kỳ (USDA) đã chấp thuận bổ sung thêm 2 doanh nghiệp vào danh sách các cơ sở chế biến cá bộ Siluriformes (chủ yếu là cá tra, cá basa…) được phép xuất khẩu vào Hoa Kỳ.
