Số liệu thứ cấp: Tham khảo các tài liệu, báo cáo thông tin cơ bản kết quả hoạt động của công ty trong thời gian qua đặc biệt là về nhân sự. Đây là những cơ sở dữ liệu ban đầu và là nguồn thông tin định hướng, kiểm tra cho các bước tiếp theo.
Số liệu sơ cấp được thu thập thông qua điều tra trực tiếp bảng câu hỏi phỏng vấn ngẫu nhiên nhân viên đang làm tại công ty.
