Học sinh Mỹ có lẽ sẽ khá thiệt thòi khi chưa được cảm nhận cái áp lực kinh hoàng này bởi họ học dàn trải và bài kiểm tra cũng thế. Chính vì vậy nên đòi hỏi học sinh luôn phải học và luyện tập đều đặn và giáo viên đánh giá dựa trên kết quả thường xuyên đó . Nhưng học sinh Việt Nam thì lại nhàn nhã hơn cho đến cuối kì mới là bài kiểm tra đáng sợ nhất.
