Đợt này, chỉ có duy nhất một doanh nghiệp Việt Nam được trao chứng nhận đầu tư với số vốn khá lớn là Công ty Thép Nam Kim (P.Hòa Phú, TP Thủ Dầu Một) tăng vốn đầu tư tới 448,3 tỉ đồng; nâng tổng vốn đầu tư dự án của công ty này tới 1.112 tỉ đồng.

Các khu công nghiệp VSIP 1, 2 với quy mô rộng, cơ sở hạ tầng hoàn thiện tiếp tục dẫn đầu về tỷ lệ thu hút đầu tư khi có tới 10 dự án được trao chứng nhận đầu tư đợt này.
