Thực hành di truyền học và tế bào học là môn học cung cấp những kiến thức thực hành cơ bản trong tìm hiểu về cấu trúc và chức năng của tế bào cũng như các qui luật của hiện tượng di truyền ở sinh vật nói chung và con người nói riêng. Tìm hiểu và quan sát về thành phần cấu trúc của tế bào, chức năng của các cấu trúc trong tế bào, kiến thức qua kênh hình ảnh về qúa trình sinh trưởng và sinh sản của tế bào. Hướng dẫn phương pháp giải một số dạng bài tập di truyền ở chương trình trung học phổ thông. Kiến thức của học phần thực hành di truyền và tế bào sẽ giúp sinh viên củng cố lại những kiến thức lý thuyết về di truyền và tế bào đã được cung cấp trong các học phần trước.
