​Hơn 200 triệu USD vốn FDI tiếp tục “đổ” vào Bình Dương

TTO - 30 dự án với tổng số vốn đầu tư hơn 204,2 triệu USD và 448,3 tỉ đồng vừa được UBND tỉnh Bình Dương trao chứng nhận đầu tư ngày 17-12.

Đây là các dự án đầu tư mới và mở rộng đầu tư được thu hút trong thời gian khá ngắn, chỉ trong vòng ba tháng từ tháng 9 tới 12-2014. Trong đó, tỷ lệ doanh nghiệp FDI đầu tư mới và doanh nghiệp mở rộng đầu tư khá đều nhau (16 dự án đầu tư mới với 115,1 triệu USD; 13 dự án mở rộng đầu tư với 89,1 triệu USD).

Đợt này, chỉ có duy nhất một doanh nghiệp Việt Nam được trao chứng nhận đầu tư với số vốn khá lớn là Công ty Thép Nam Kim (P.Hòa Phú, TP Thủ Dầu Một) tăng vốn đầu tư tới 448,3 tỉ đồng; nâng tổng vốn đầu tư dự án của công ty này tới 1.112 tỉ đồng.

Các khu công nghiệp VSIP 1, 2 với quy mô rộng, cơ sở hạ tầng hoàn thiện tiếp tục dẫn đầu về tỷ lệ thu hút đầu tư khi có tới 10 dự án được trao chứng nhận đầu tư đợt này.

Ông Lê Thanh Cung - chủ tịch UBND tỉnh Bình Dương - cho biết với số lượng thu hút đầu tư nói trên, tính cả năm 2014, Bình Dương đã thu hút được 1,65 tỉ USD; lọt vào “top 5” tỉnh, TP có tổng vốn đầu tư FDI trên 20 tỉ USD gồm TP.HCM 37,9 tỉ USD; Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu 26,6 tỉ USD; Hà Nội 23,4 tỉ USD; Đồng Nai 21,1 tỉ USD và Bình Dương 20,3 tỉ USD.

Đặc biệt, khác với các tỉnh, TP khác, các dự án FDI vào Bình Dương đều có quy mô vừa và nhỏ với tỷ lệ giải ngân cao, đa dạng loại ngành nghề, tạo điều kiện để người lao động trong nước tiếp cận được công nghệ của các nước.

Theo ông Cung, dù trong năm 2014 Bình Dương xảy ra sự cố gây thiệt hại cho một số doanh nghiệp, nhưng với các biện pháp nhanh chóng hỗ trợ của Chính phủ và địa phương, các nhà đầu tư đã yên tâm và tiếp tục đầu tư, mở rộng quy mô sản xuất kinh doanh.

Sắp tới, Bình Dương sẽ đẩy mạnh một số dự án hạ tầng nhằm tạo “lực đẩy” cho sản xuất, lưu thông hàng hóa như mở rộng Quốc lộ 13 nối TP.HCM - Bình Dương, nâng cấp đường ĐT743 (qua khu vực Sóng Thần…), các đoạn của đường Mỹ Phước - Tân Vạn (đoạn qua thị xã Dĩ An để nối Bình Dương với TP.HCM và đoạn nối từ Thành phố mới Bình Dương tới Mỹ Phước)…
