- Quyết định 1866/QĐ-TTg ngày 08 tháng 10 năm 2010 của Chính phủ phê duyệt Quy hoạch tổng thể phát triển kinh tế - xã hội thành phố Đà Nẵng đến năm 2020, xác định mục tiêu: “Xây dựng và phát triển thành phố Đà Nẵng là trung tâm kinh tế - xã hội của miền Trung, với vai trò là trung tâm dịch vụ...; một trong những trung tâm giáo dục và đào tạo, khoa học và công nghệ cao của miền Trung... Tăng cường công tác đào tạo nghề để đáp ứng nhu cầu công nghiệp hóa, hiện đại hóa, đảm bảo tất cả lao động được đào tạo nghề phù hợp...Tạo bước đột phá về dạy nghề, phấn đấu tăng tỷ lệ lao động qua đào tạo đạt 70% vào năm 2020”.
