Sáng ngày 21/1, Đại hội Đại biểu Toàn quốc lần thứ XII Đảng Cộng sản Việt Nam khai mạc tại Trung tâm hội nghị quốc gia Mỹ Đình (Hà Nội), với sự tham gia của hơn 1.500 đại biểu, đại diện cho 4,5 triệu Đảng viên trên cả nước.

Hãng thông tấn AP nhấn mạnh Đại hội kéo dài 8 ngày của Đảng Cộng sản Việt Nam sẽ bầu ra những nhà lãnh đạo mới trong nhiệm kỳ 5 năm sắp tới, dẫn dắt đất nước vượt qua các thách thức hiện nay.
