Rung chuông vàng là một cuộc thi kiến thức dành cho sinh viên các trường Đại học tại Việt Nam do VTV3 - Đài truyền hình Việt Nam tổ chức. Rung chuông vàng là một trò chơi truyền hình được tài trợ chính bởi Tập đoàn công nghệ thực phẩm Orion. Mỗi cuộc thi có 100 sinh viên tham dự. Các thí sinh được ngồi vào 1 sàn thi đấu hình vuông và được phát bảng, bút, khăn lau. Chương trình sẽ lần lượt đưa ra các câu hỏi. Thí sinh trả lời vào bảng. Nếu trả lời đúng thì được tiếp tục ngồi trên sàn thi đấu trả lời câu tiếp theo. Nếu sai bị loại và bước ra khỏi sàn thi. Thí sinh còn lại cuối cùng là người xuất sắc nhất. Người nào trả lời đúng câu hỏi cuối cùng là người chiến thắng, rung được chuông vàng. cuộc thi có các câu hỏi đặc biệt như Câu hỏi tình huống, Câu hỏi tiếng Anh,Việt Nam của tôi, Tủ sách của bạn,Câu hỏi cuối cùng và các hình thức cứu trợ
