TBA 110kV Ân Thi được thiết kế là trạm biến áp không người trực vì vậy yêu cầu hệ thống điều khiển TBA được thực hiện như sau:
- Hệ thống điều khiển máy tính cho phép thực hiện các nhiệm vụ điều khiển và giám sát hoạt động của các thiết bị trong trạm đồng thời thực hiện chức năng của các thiết bị đầu cuối (RTU hay Gateway) để giao tiếp với Trung tâm điều độ HTĐ miền Bắc (A1).
