• Jetstar Pacific Airlines vụ điều tra 2010: Tháng 11 năm 2009, JPA bị một nhân viên cũ tố cáo sử dụng máy bay không an toàn. Tháng 1 năm 2010, Cục Hàng không Việt nam đã công bố kết quả thanh tra và cho biết lỗi lớn nhất của Jetstar Pacific Airlines là "đã xây dựng và vận hành hệ thống bảo đảm chất lượng bảo dưỡng hoạt động kém, vai trò của hệ thống bảo đảm chất lượng bảo dưỡng gần như không có, dẫn tới nhiều sai phạm trong quy trình bảo dưỡng" . Hai ngày sau, Jetstar Pacific Airlines sửa sai bằng cách thay đổi gần như toàn bộ bộ máy tổ chức của bộ phận bảo trì.
Ngày 7 tháng 1 năm 2010, nguyên Tổng giám đốc hãng hàng không Jetstar Pacific Airlines, ông Lương Hoài Nam, đã bị tạm giữ để điều tra về hành vi "thiếu trách nhiệm gây hậu quả nghiêm trọng" (theo điều 285 Bộ luật hình sự)liên quan đến khoản lỗ 31 triệu USD trong quá trình mua xăng dự trữ của hãng. Đồng thời, hai Phó tổng giám đốc Jetstar Pacific người Úc, bà Daniela Massilli và ông Tristan Freeman, bị cấm xuất cảnh để điều tra. Vụ rắc rối này đã thu hút chú ý của truyền thông nước ngoài. Sau đó, Ông Lương Hoài Nam được tại ngoại và miễn truy cứu trách nhiệm hình sự, hai phó tổng giám đốc người Úc cũng được phép trở về nước vào tháng 7 năm 2010.

• VietNam Airline : Trước tình trạng 30 phi công của Vietnam Airlines xin nghỉ việc, 117 lượt phi công báo ốm, nhiều chỉ đạo, giải pháp liên quan đến sự việc đã được đưa ra.
Ngày 12/1, Hãng hàng không quốc gia Việt Nam (Vietnam Airlines) đã tổ chức họp báo và thông báo lộ trình cải cách tiền lương cho người lao động, với mức lương tăng hơn trước.
Tuy nhiên, đây có thể chưa phải là câu chuyện của riêng Vietnam Airlines trong bối cảnh Việt Nam đang thực hiện các cam kết quốc tế, đặc biệt thị trường mở ASEAN trong thời gian tới.
Tiền lương và mối quan hệ với người sử dụng lao động sẽ là câu chuyện “nóng” không chỉ của riêng hãng hàng không quốc gia này.
