Giải Nobel Hòa bình (tiếng Thụy Điển và tiếng Na Uy: Nobels fredspris) là một trong năm nhóm giải thưởng ban đầu của Giải Nobel. Theo nguyện vọng ghi trong di chúc của Alfred Nobel, Giải Nobel hòa bình nên được trao "cho người đã có đóng góp to lớn trong việc đẩy mạnh tình đoàn kết giữa các quốc gia, trong việc giải trừ hoặc hạn chế các lực lượng vũ trang và trong việc tổ chức hay xúc tiến các hội nghị hòa bình". Có nhiều người cho rằng Nobel đã lập ra giải thưởng này trong di chúc như một cách đền bù cho các chất nổ phát minh của ông vốn được sử dụng rộng rãi trong chiến tranh như dynamit hay ballistite. Thực tế thì ngoại trừ ballistite, không một loại chất nổ nào của Nobel được sử dụng trong chiến tranh khi ông còn sống[1].
