Nghiên cứu này xem xét quan hệ nhân quả Granger giữa GDP thực, xuất khẩu thực và dòng vốn FDI ròng thực ở Việt Nam trong giai đoạn từ năm 1980 đến năm 2013. Bài nghiên cứu sử dụng mô hình VAR và kiểm định nhân quả Granger để xem xét mối quan hệ giữa xuất khẩu, FDI và GDP. Kết quả nghiên cứu ở Việt Nam cho thấy bằng chứng ủng hộ giả thuyết xuất khẩu nhờ tăng trưởng. Bên cạnh đó, tăng trưởng GDP và FDI đều có tác động đến xuất khẩu cả trong ngắn hạn lẫn dài hạn. Ngoài ra, FDI còn có tác động đến tăng trưởng GDP trong ngắn hạn

This study reviewed Granger causality between real GDP, real exports and real net FDI inflows in Vietnam during the period from 1980 to 2013. The study uses VAR model and Granger causality testing to consider the relationship between exports and FDI and GDP. Findings in Vietnam showed evidence to support the hypothesis export growth thanks. Besides, GDP and FDI growth will have an impact on exports in the short term and long term. In addition, FDI also has an impact on GDP growth in the short term
