- Mặc dù hệ thực vật Khu trung tâm khu đô thị Tây Hồ Tây chỉ có 3 ngành thực vật bậc cao có mạch, vắng mặt các ngành Khuyết lá thông (Psilotophyta), Thông đất (Lycopodiophyta) và Cỏ tháp bút (Equisetophyta), nhưng hệ thực vật này cũng chiếm tới 2,2 % tổng số loài; 8,3% tổng số chi và 26,5% tổng số họ của hệ thực vật Việt Nam. Những số liệu này cho thấy, hệ thực vật Khu trung tâm khu đô thị Tây Hồ Tây tuy không thể xếp vào hàng phong phú, nhưng cũng không quá nghèo. Cần lưu ý rằng, đây là vùng đất được con người khai thác từ lâu, do đó, thành phần các loài thực vật hoang dại chỉ chiếm tỷ lệ khiêm tốn và có rất ít loài cây gỗ tự nhiên
