Để tạo nguồn lực cho phát triển bền vững, dự kiến từ nay đến năm 2020 nhu cầu vốn đầu tư của PetroVietnam khoảng 34 tỷ USD. Nhu cầu vốn đầu tư cho phát triển lớn nhưng trong điều kiện nguồn tài chính của PetroVietnam còn nhiều hạn chế. Do vậy, chúng tôi đang tiến hành triển khai các giải pháp đồng bộ để bảo đảm vốn đầu tư cho tất cả các mục tiêu trong đó có lĩnh vực tìm kiếm, thăm dò, khai thác và chế biến dầu khí.
