1.1.2. Tổng quan nghiên cứu vấn đề ở trong nước
1.1.2.1. Nghiên cứu về giáo dục kỹ năng sống cho học sinh
Từ những năm 1990, theo xu thế phát triển giáo dục chung của thế giới, thuật ngữ KNS và GIÁO DỤC KỸ NĂNG SỐNG bắt đầu được quan tâm nhiều tại Việt nam bởi chính phủ và các bộ, ngành liên quan. Từ năm 2000, chủ đề GIÁO DỤC KỸ NĂNG SỐNG cho học sinh được bàn thảo và nghiên cứu ngày càng nhiều. Bộ GD-ĐT xác định GIÁO DỤC KỸ NĂNG SỐNG cho học sinh là một trong những nội dung chính thức của giáo dục phổ thông. Từ năm học 2007 – 2008, Bộ GD-ĐT đã chính thức phát động phong trào thi đua “Xây dựng trường học thân thiện, học sinh tích cực” và xác định GIÁO DỤC KỸ NĂNG SỐNG cho HỌC SINH là một trong năm nội dung của phong trào này trong các trường phổ thông giai đoạn 2008 - 2013 trong hầu hết các trường học từ mầm non đến đại học trên phạm vi cả nước
