So what's new in Final Cut Pro 10.1.2? As you can see, there were quite a few changes released in the 2014 update, but there weren't really any show stopper changes in functionality to the software, that would warrant an entire re-record of the course. However, I certainly did want to call out some of the updates, so that you're aware of many of the new features. So, I've chosen to include, what I think are the most relevant items for the Final Cut Pro 10 essential training, which I have in bold here. So for now, the Final Cut Pro 10.1 training will remain as is, and I'll use these update movies to let you know about various changes in the software, until the next major update of Final Cut Pro 10.So, in this movie, we'll talk about media management. And in a subsequent movie, we'll talk about some other organizational and audio-related items. And just so you know, there aren't any specific exercise files accompanying these update movies, but I'll be using the Final Cut Pro 10.1 exercise files to demo, so feel free to follow along. First, just to get us in the media management mode of thinking, I want to do a little bit of review. We already know that with the release of Final Cut Pro 10.1, media management changed significantly, and for the better.
