Chromatography (English: chromatography, from Greek chroma χρῶμα means "color" and γράφειν GRAPHEIN mean "record" [1]) is one of the analytical techniques used in the laboratories of the analytical chemistry used to separate the substances in a mixture. It involves the need to analyze the sample containing the "mobile phase", usually the flow of solvent, moving through "stationary phase." Stationary phase delay the movement of the components in the sample. When these components move through the system with different speeds, they will be separated from each other over time, like marathon running athletes. An ideal way, each component passes through the system in a particular time period, called "retention time.
